The dorm room door opened, and Mace strode into the room with Vincent and Axel. I dropped into my desk chair again with a defeated sigh, looking at the two men with dead eyes.
“What?” I grunted.
“Jesus Christ,” Axel swore as he stared at the blood, but there was no surprise on his face—just defeat.
Didn’t know what the fuck he had to feel defeated about. I’d been a lost cause from day fucking one. Didn’t they realize that?
“Meghan, what the fuck is going on?” Vincent demanded, stepping closer to me. “Why didn’t you fucking come to me? Why the fuck did you let yourself get this goddamn bad?”
“I’m fine,” I grunted.
“Oh, my God!” a girl screeched from the hallway as she stared at the blood.
Axel slammed the door shut as Vincent closed the remaining distance between us. “You need fucking help—Is that coke?!” Vince roared.
He yanked open my desk drawer, a snarl twisting his features. “No!” I screamed at him, panic gripping my throat when he grabbed the remaining coke I had stashed away. “Vincent, don’t fucking touch my shit!” I yelled.
He stormed out of the room with my stash, and I moved to rush after him, but I stumbled, my knees crashing hard to the floor. Axel rushed forward to help me up. “Vince, don’t!” I begged.
Vincent stormed back into the room, his hands empty. “What did you do?!” I yelled at him as I pushed against Axel, getting blood on his white shirt. “Vincent, what did you do?!”
“I flushed it,” he snarled.
“You fucking ass!” I shouted, shoving Axel away. “I fucking hate you!”
His eyes flared with anger. “You need help.”
“I don’t fucking need help!” I screamed. “I need you to fuck off and leave me alone!”
“Let’s go,” Vincent ordered.
Axel stood up and lifted me over his shoulder. I shouted a string of curse words at the top of my lungs, not giving a fuck about the stares that I was drawing. “Fucking put me down!” I yelled. “Axel, put me down!”
Axel set me in the backseat of Vincent’s car. He’d put me down but not where I fucking ordered him to. I glared up at him, but he just evenly met my gaze, not even flinching.
Vince leaned in and gripped my chin, his eyes glaring harshly into mine. “Hate me all you want right now, but I won’t let you fuck yourself up, Meghan.”
I spit in his face. It was too fucking late for that. I’d been fucked up long before we ever met.
I was just damn fucking good at hiding it.

I arched an eyebrow at Axel as he stepped into the frat house with a bloody shirt in his hands. “The fuck happened to you?” I asked.
“Your fucking ex,” he muttered, for once looking pissed at the world. And Axel wasn’t one to get angry.
My heart stopped in my chest. I swung my angry gaze to him. “What about Meghan?” I demanded.
“She’s fucked up, Julian,” he grunted as he sat down on the couch, tossing the shirt down beside him. I narrowed my eyes at him. Did he just dare fucking say my woman was fucked up?
Vincent stormed into the frat house. “This is all your fucking fault, asshole!” he yelled at me. “I fucking trusted you with her. She’s fucking fragile no matter what kind of goddamn front she puts up, and you fucking tore her all the fucking way down!”
“The fuck are you talking about?!” I shouted at him. “I think you’re forgetting the part where she fucking ended shit between us—not me!”
Vincent barked out a laugh and shook his head. “You don’t even fucking deserve to know.” I opened my mouth to speak as he pointed his finger at Axel, but I didn’t get an opportunity. “You breathe a goddamn word of this to him, and I’ll beat your fucking ass until you’re eating through a fucking tube.”
Vince stormed out of the room and rushed up the stairs. His bedroom door slammed shut behind him a moment later, hard enough to make the walls in the house shake. I looked at Axel. He held his hands up in a defensive gesture. “Look, I would tell you, but I’d rather not find out if Vincent will hold true to his threat.”
Pussy. He knew he could take Vince any fucking day of the week.
With a pissed-off grunt, I snatched my keys off the counter and stormed out of the house.
Meghan, what the fuck did you do?

I stared at the empty dorm room in front of me, not sure what to feel. I felt confused for sure. I knew she had been there yesterday because I was a fucking stalker and kept checking on her.
But it was completely empty and spotless.
I grabbed a girl’s arm that was passing me in the hall. She turned to face me as she pushed her glasses up her nose. “Do you know where the two girls that were staying here are?” I asked her.
