I came back to what I thought would be a peaceful day, and all hell is suddenly breaking loose without my approval.

Derek walks closer. In his hand, he holds a black blindfold. A silk one.

“Give me the coffee, Princess,” Derek says, his hand held out to take the warm beverage.

Derek hands the coffee to Spencer, who takes a sip, smiling.

“Mmm, Kona. You remembered, Sweets,” he said.

I shake my head, still not understanding what’s happening here today.

Walking behind me, Derek places the blindfold across my eyes.

“Do you trust us?” he asks.

“With my life,” I confess.

I mean it. I trust the four men with everything I have. I wouldn’t have found out what living meant until the day I met them all.

Odd how you can just exist and not know it.

“We’re going to be walking to the elevator. Xane has one arm, and I have the other. We won’t let you fall,” Derek says.

I can’t stop giggling.

I don’t know what they have planned, but guess what?

I don’t care.

Fuck it, right? What happens, happens.

Once I’m in the elevator, they take advantage of the private space. Hands on my ass, groping it tight. Another grabs my tit, squeezing.

I belong to these men, and they all know it.

“This elevator ride is taking forever. Am I going to the roof?” I ask.

Laughter fills the small cabin.

“No, but maybe one day you’ll bring us up there,” Spencer says.

I reach out to grab onto one of their hands as the elevator pitches to a stop. I’m not sure whose hand it is, but it doesn’t matter. I know I can steady myself on any of them.

It’s odd, losing your sight even for just a short amount of time, though.

Walking me forward, I hear the doors shut behind me on the elevator.

I jump. The sound startles me.

Derek removes the blindfold, showing me a beautiful open office. It’s spacious, and the view is shocking.

“Who? What? I’m confused?” I said, looking at each of the men who brought me here.

Killian walks behind me, his arms wrapping around my waist. “Welcome to the 98th floor. This floor is the new office space for part of your staff. We hired a decorator to make it look how we think you would like it.”

“Everything’s new,” he tells me. “Each cubicle comes with a new state-of-the-art laptop, desk, and chairs that are so comfortable that Spencer fell asleep last night in one,” Killian laughs.

I can’t believe this. My entire office moved to this floor, and there’s so much room that they won’t know what to do with themselves once they settle in.

“All this is for me?” I ask.

“Well, this, and a little bit more. We have much more to show you, Angel,” Killian says, his voice soft and assured.

I don’t even know what to say. My staff is going to love this place, but isn’t it too much for them to do for me?

“Gem, we have more. Come with us,” Xane adds, his hand now holding mine.

Another elevator ride. This time, it’s short—only one floor up.

When the door opens, I gasp.

Not only are there private offices, but the first thing I see is a glass-enclosed conference room. I’ve always wanted one but never thought that would be feasible.

“Holy fuck!” I gasp, my hand covering my mouth in shock.

I must be dreaming, but I’m not.

I walk in. Everything’s new, the technology more advanced than I thought possible.

Earth tone furnishings, beautiful walls painted a shade of cream that makes the room seem warm and inviting, and the perfect mixture of complimentary and natural lighting.

Nothing stark or clinical here.

“Is that a fucking TV?” I ask, pointing to the 72-inch flat screen on the conference room wall.

All nod in unison, smiling.

“Oh my fucking god, I can’t believe this is for me? For my staff?”

“Did you think that we could let our woman down?” Xane pets the back of my hair to remind me that I’m theirs.

I chew at my bottom lip, shaking my head in shock.

“Of course not. Where is my office, though?” I ask, looking at all the doors with names of my senior staff on them.

“Wait till you see it, Sweets!” Spencer says.

I’m so confused today. What does Spencer mean by that?

Without a word, Spencer grabs my hand, leading me back to the elevator like a kid on his way to Disneyland for the first time. This man makes me happy.

His simple acts are just what I need to calm me down.

Another floor up is the 100th and last floor. I’ve never been this high in the building, so I have no clue what they even have up here. I know from the outside that the building tapers up, so I always wondered what kind of business would run out of a smaller space than the other floors.

When the doors open, though, I’m worried I’ll faint.

“Welcome to your office, Julia. This entire floor is yours,” Derek says.
