“Dom…” she hums my name, biting down on her lip until all I hear is a muffled growl and I hate it. I want that noise out and echoing around us. I need to hear how much she wants me. When she finally lets go, I look at her swollen lips and see a drop of blood where her teeth were just a moment ago. I lean down to lick the dark red spot and kiss her, plundering her mouth almost as violently as my dick is her body. The heat from her body calls to me. I can’t hold it together much longer. Her juices soak my fingers, and once again, I curse this damn condom.

“Don’t bite your lip, Gorgeous. You need to bite something to keep from screaming my name, bite me.”

“You’re so damn cocky,” she huffs out, her breathing ragged.

“Who wouldn’t be when they’re inside the hottest woman in the world and drunk on her kisses? Come for me, Thea. Give me even more beauty than you already have,” I order. As I give her my demand, I manage to pinch her swollen clit. She begins to cry out, making me smile. The smile quickly goes to a groan as she buries her head into my body and her mouth opens up against my shoulder. She bites the fuck out of my shoulder, and that’s the moment it is over. I come so hard that I struggle not to black out. Cum shoots out so thick and hard that it’s a wonder the condom doesn’t rip apart. On a downward stroke, I pin her body down tight, trapping my fingers against her clit as I rock my hips and grind against her sweet little body. That’s all it takes to send her completely over the edge and she screams against my shoulder, her teeth not letting go of me, and I love it.

We stay like that as wave after wave of our combined climaxes roll through both of us. Eventually we come down and she releases her bite. I immediately miss it but smile when her lips brush over the mark she left as she kisses it. It’s been a fuck of a long time, but I feel happiness fill me.

I get up, quickly dispersing the condom. Then, I wash up before coming back to bed to hold Thea close. I move to my back while she settles her head against my chest. “Do you want me to leave?” I feel the obligation to ask, but I’m praying she says no.

She tenses for a second and then it’s gone. “No. Stay with me. I don’t want you to leave. Mattie can just kiss my ass.”

Her words make me smile. I should tell her that Breaker is the one that encouraged me to go after her. I don’t. Instead, I just kiss the top of her head.

“Okay, sweetheart.”

Thea’s arm stretches over my chest as she hugs me close. She turns on her side, presses up against me, and bends her leg, positioning it over my thigh. “I’m sorry about tonight. I had no idea your father would react to us dating like that.”

“Dad is dad. His reaction has everything to do with me and nothing to do with you.”

“Dom—”

“Okay, part of it was because he thinks I’m not good enough for you and I’m not. That’s one thing that he and I can agree on.”

“Bullshit. Maybe if we were the same people we were back when I was madly in love with the idea of you, it would have been bad news.”

“The idea of me?”

“Mm hm, exactly. However, the man you’ve let me get to know now? That man is a good man and I really want what we have growing between us to keep going. Your father will just have to suck it up.”

I smile. “I can agree with that.”

“Good,” she giggles.

“But back to what you said. We’re not dating, Thea.” She raises up to look down at me. I cup the side of her face and bring her lips down to mine. I give her a brief lip touch and force myself to pull back. “We’re not trying each other out here, sweetheart. We’re building something together. I think you get that by now.”

Her gaze locks on mine. I don’t break eye contact. This is too important. “I get it,” she murmurs.

“Good.”

“Dom?”

“Yeah?”

“I want this to work out with you.”

My fingers tangle into her hair and I bring her face down until our foreheads touch. “It’s going to. I won’t allow any other option. I’m going to fight for you, because you here, in bed with me and in my arms, is all I want.”

Her hand slides against my chest, her fingers brushing over my club tattoo. “I used to dream of you telling me that, Dom.”

“Baby…” The word is almost painful to utter because I know I hurt her when we were younger. I’ve wasted a lot of years. I spent them blind, bound to a promise that should have never been made so young, and to a woman who changed into someone I ceased to recognize.
