Yev snorted, his fingertips drawing circles on Radek’s flesh. “Are you saying you’ve already had your share of slutting around?”

Radek sighed deeply, relaxed in their little bubble of closeness. “I think so. I lost my virginity at eighteen, and I know that’s not technically late, but I felt like a late bloomer. All my straight friends were fucking around by then while I felt so stuck with all my hormones. I had a good friend who I could sense had the hots for me, but he was older, and wouldn’t fuck me until I was an adult. After he took my cherry on my birthday, I got so thirsty that we went at it like rabbits, but I left for university and only had sex on my brain, looking for new guys while still screwing around with him whenever I was back home. I don’t regret what I did, or that the ship with Emil sailed a long time ago, but maybe I haven’t exactly given anyone the attention they deserved. Until you.”

Yev’s breath stilled. “The village head took your virginity?”

Radek groaned. “Yes, he did, and we’re still good friends. Are you laughing at me? You know I can’t see your face.”

Yev grumbled and rubbed his cheek against the back of Radek’s head. “No. It’s just weird, because I know him.”

Radek bit his lip, to not smile too widely. Jan or Emil had never been jealous of him. “Well, the dick inside me isn’t his, is it?”

“I could easily push him away before he got to you. Also, he’s practically married.”

Radek deflated. “So you’re not jealous?”

A growl. Then, “I’ll make sure he doesn’t look at you funny. What can I do? Break his neck for fucking you before we even met?”

Radek rubbed his sweaty shoulders against Yev. “No, it’s enough that you feel the urge. I know it’s stupid but I just want to feel… special to someone. You know, like in The Little Prince,” he said, embarrassed of mentioning such an innocent book while his sore yet satisfied ass was still stretched around a dick. “That I’m not one of countless pretty faces.”

Yev chuckled. “So it wasn’t a joke? One way or another, you actually want to get married some day?”

Radek stilled, suddenly nervous. “Maybe not married, but… I’m not exactly against having a boyfriend.” He was now glad that he didn’t have to say this to Yev’s face. It was easier that way.

And then, Yev pulled off the blindfold, exposing Radek to light that felt too bright and forced him to squint. “On another note… just bear with me, okay?”

“Are you seriously changing the topic right now?” Radek whined, with no shields left to protect his feelings.

Yev grumbled and shifted position, making the knot twist inside his ass. “I’m just worried over situations like the one at the club. What if you shifted, and I didn’t get to you on time? Someone might hurt you or take you away,” Yev said, lying back down with something that sounded like a rattle containing a single bead.

Unease settled in Radek’s throat at the memory or transforming in the busy nightclub. “I was scared,” he admitted in a hushed voice.

“I know. I’ve been carrying this with me, but it’s a freaky idea that you might not like so I didn’t talk to you about it yet. But… could I tag you?”

Radek glanced over his shoulder with a frown. “Tag me? What?”

A flush spread across Yev’s face as he looked away, which was completely ridiculous considering Radek was still in bondage, and had Yev’s dick up his ass. He opened a small plastic box and showed him a steel tag that resembled something that might be attached to a wild animal for research.

“If we put this on your ear, you wouldn’t be an anonymous fox, even if you transformed.”

Radek got choked up for no reason at all and had to take a few deep breaths before he could speak. “No, I’d be tamed, and everyone could recognize it. That’s so thoughtful, Yev.”

The firm body behind him relaxed, and Yev gently unwound the scarf tying Radek’s arms together. “Don’t worry. I’ll take care of you.”

Once he was free, they settled into a hug, and Yev’s strong arms made Radek feel invincible even though he had so many problems and responsibilities to deal with. His eyes were closing already, but he still took his time admiring the steel tag in his hand.

He belonged to Yev.

Chapter 19 – Yev

Yev wanted to see the tag—earring—again, but the lovely red hair kept getting in the way, like a silk curtain stubbornly falling into place and blocking him from his favorite peepshow. It didn't help that Radek had put on a blue woolen cap, which covered his ears, but Yev’s patience was growing thin, and he pushed some locks out of the way so he could see the small cuff attached to the flushed, tender flesh. He was driving the truck at a snail’s pace anyway.
