Only then did Jude take his hands off Shawn and stand. “I need to come too.” His voice was tight and desperate. He moved to stand by Shawn’s shoulder, shoving his sweatpants down and gripping his cock where it jutted out, rock-hard and eager. He angled his body so he’d be on camera as he started to stroke.

Shawn couldn’t tear his gaze away, watching as the slick head emerged from Jude’s fist. When he breathed in he could smell it, musk and sex, and he needed…

“Come on me.” The words broke free without his conscious permission. “Come on my face.”

“Fuck.” Jude gasped, a strangled sound, and he barely had time to point his cock at Shawn before he came. Thick, warm splashes hit Shawn’s face and he closed his eyes instinctively, even though he wished he could see. Jude groaned, and then Shawn felt the gentle touch of Jude’s fingers on his lips. He opened his eyes and met Jude’s gaze.

Jude looked as overwhelmed as Shawn was. They stared at each other, and Shawn wanted to say something, to tell Jude how he felt. This wasn’t about money; it wasn’t about experimentation any more. He didn’t know what it was, but it was huge and scary and important.

Then Jude seemed to pull himself together. “Well, that was hot as fuck, don’t you think, guys?” He turned to the webcam and wiped his hands on his shirt before pulling his sweatpants back up. “I think Chris enjoyed it too.”

Shawn could hear tension in Jude’s voice, and he seemed to be rushing to finish as he did his usual spiel, thanking people for watching and for the tips, and finally reminding them about his next show.

Shawn suddenly panicked. Still tied to the chair, naked and exposed, he wanted to cover himself but couldn’t. Something cracked open and his heart pounded, his breathing became unsteady. He bit his lip, trying to control himself as he waited for Jude to hit Stop.

As soon as Jude closed the lid of the laptop, Shawn gasped out, “Untie me!”

Jude wheeled around, concern on his face. “Sorry, sorry. Of course.” He hurried around behind the chair and crouched down to release Shawn’s hands.

As soon as he was free, Shawn grabbed his sweats and pulled them on. His hands were shaking and he shivered, suddenly cold where before he’d been hot. His skin broke out in goosebumps.

“Here.” Jude handed him his T-shirt.

Shawn pulled it on hurriedly, smearing the come he’d forgotten was on his face. He stood, wanting to escape. He needed his bed, somewhere safe and warm where he could collect his scattered thoughts and regain his equilibrium. He swayed, suddenly dizzy.

What the fuck is wrong with me?

“Hey.” Jude put his hands on Shawn’s shoulders and pushed him back down into the chair. “Give yourself a minute. That was intense. It’s not unusual to feel pretty shaky after a scene like that. You went pretty deep there for a while.”

His words didn’t make any sense, but Shawn couldn’t be bothered to ask him to explain.

“I’ll just get you a cloth, you’re a mess. Don’t move. Just breathe. In… out… in… out. Slowly.”

Having some instructions to follow was reassuring, so Shawn stayed put and focused on pulling air into his lungs and letting it out. He was dimly aware of the click of the door as Jude left the room and then the sound of water running in the bathroom. Then Jude was back with a warm flannel. He knelt beside Shawn and wiped his face gently.

He came on my face. Because I asked him to. Shawn had the sudden urge to laugh hysterically. He bit it back, making a weird snorting sound instead, and shivered again.

“Are you cold?”

“Yeah. No. I don’t know.”

Jude stood and pulled back the duvet on the bed, then came back and took Shawn’s hands, pulling him up. “Come here.” He guided Shawn to the bed. “Lie down.”

Shawn didn’t have the energy to argue. Jude sounded determined, and Shawn wasn’t sure he wanted to be alone when he felt so weird and light-headed, disconnected from his body.

Jude got into bed with him and pulled the covers up, then wrapped his arms around him. Shawn let Jude tug him close until his head was resting on Jude’s chest. The thump of his heart was reassuring, a steady beat that gave Shawn something to focus on as his heart rate slowed.

In pieces, he became aware of physical sensations again. His body warmed and the shivering stopped; his breathing levelled out. Jude’s arms were tight around him, grounding him, but he still felt as though he might float away if Jude released him.

He didn’t want Jude to let go.

After what felt like a long time, Jude spoke, his voice soft. “You feeling better now?” His breath ruffled Shawn’s hair.
