The two men were stunning together, and the heat they generated between them had B fanning himself.

And speaking of stunning…

The door to his shop opened, and he looked up to see his next appointments arriving. He quickly set his coffee down and jumped to his feet. He’d cut Ashton Frost’s hair before and knew to call him Snow, but his boyfriend, Jude, was a new client.

His eyes widened when the gorgeous Spanish-looking man came in behind Snow. Talk about sexy! The thickly muscled guy had his hand on Snow’s back, possessiveness in every line of his body. B didn’t blame him. Taming the droll but striking surgeon was quite a damn feat. Hell, B had tried to flirt with the man in the past.

Now he had Ricky and no interest in other men. The thought gave him pause, and he stood for a moment, kind of stunned at the realization.

Snow settled into B’s chair without an invitation and crossed his legs. “Good to see you again, B. How are you doing?”

B shook off his thoughts of Ricky and ran his hands through Snow’s pretty, gray hair. “I’m great, Dr. Frost. It’s always good to have you in my clutches.”

Snow smirked at him. “Just the usual, please.”

“Are you sure you wouldn’t want something new? Something with flash? A silver mohawk perhaps?”

Snow’s smirk turned into a scowl, his light-blue eyes narrowing into slits. “No mohawk.”

Jude snorted and settled into the chair closest to B’s section. “I don’t know. It might look sexy.”

“It would go over so well at the hospital. Instill confidence in all my patients.” Snow picked at a loose thread on his sweater, amusement twisting his lips.

“We could call you Dr. T,” B quipped before heaving a dramatic sigh. “You and Lucas, so unwilling to try something new.”

Snow met his gaze in the mirror. “Lucas been in already?”

“Him and Andrei. Same old styles as usual.”

A small grin returned to Snow’s features. “I don’t think Ian would welcome anything significantly out of the ordinary for his wedding pictures.”

“Understood. No suggesting to shave Rowe’s head later today.”

Jude’s merry laughter filled their area, and even Snow gave a little chuckle.

“No, definitely not.”

He used the clippers on Snow’s dry hair, cleaning up the area around his ears and neck. He then ushered Snow back to the wash area for a quick shampoo and condition before settling him into his chair. He spread the cape over the doctor again and hooked it behind his neck.

Snow smelled really good, so it was never a hardship to cut his hair. He glanced at Jude and took in the close black beard and thick, lush hair. He hoped like his last client, Andrei, Jude didn’t want to take too much off. All that hair must be a blast to grab on to.

He smiled at Snow in the mirror. “It’s nice to meet the boyfriend. And wow, you’re a lucky man, Snow.”

“I’m well aware of that.” Snow settled in the seat as B lifted his scissors. It wouldn’t take long since Snow was basically getting a trim. “B, this is Jude Torres.”

“Pleased to meet you.” Shifting his shears and comb to one hand, B held out his free hand and Jude shook it. Now that B was closer, he noticed a slight purple bruise high on his cheek. It didn’t detract from him at all. He wondered at the man’s background because there was more than Spanish in those gorgeous, dark looks.

B waved his hand toward a table against the wall. “All that food is courtesy of Lucas, so help yourselves. Would you two like some coffee?”

They shook their heads.

Jude winced and touched his cheek lightly with one finger.

B could see Snow’s gaze narrow on Jude in the mirror. “You gonna tell me how you got that bruise now?”

“Hazards of the job, as usual.” Jude rested one ankle on his knee as he looked around at the framed prints of different haircuts on the walls. He was missing the blue facial mask that both Lucas and Andrei had worn, but it looked like Cynthia had managed to talk him into a nice cleanser and cream. She was now working on his left hand, tidying up his short nails. “But this one was a doozy. You guys might enjoy the story.”

“I love a good story!” B clapped and started working on the top of Snow’s hair.

“I work as a paramedic through UC hospital. My partner, Rebecca, and I were assigned to a strange call last night. Supposedly, the pt, er, the patient, had fallen, hurt his head, and was acting strange. We get to the house and a woman runs out, motioning us into the backyard. Her husband was inside their chicken coop.”

“You can have a chicken coop in the city of Cincinnati?” Snow asked.

“You can,” B said as he combed and snipped Snow’s hair. “Up to ten hens, but no roosters. I actually have two clients with them. Something about having fresh eggs every day.”
