I looked at Mads and swallowed thickly while everyone waited on her decision.
THIRTEEN
Madison
After I’d changed into the wardrobe I’d been provided, I let Abbie do my hair and makeup, and she assured me for the tenth time it was totally fine I was about to fuck a man in front of his wife.
“He’s such a professional,” she said as she applied blush to the apple of my cheeks.
The thing I struggled with the most, but couldn’t bring myself to tell her because I couldn’t put it into words, was everything about it turned me on. I was confident Nina had no issue with Scott performing with me, but it still felt . . . dangerous. Taboo. Which was thrilling.
Plus, while it wasn’t the fantasy I’d pitched, the story we’d landed on was sexy. In my four years of college, I’d never been blessed with a young and attractive professor, but I understood the appeal and why it was a common trope. Scott was incredibly good looking, and it wouldn’t be hard to pretend I was hot for teacher.
The thing that turned me on most of all, though, was Colin would be in the scene. He’d enjoyed watching me with Abbie, but how would he feel when my partner was another man? Would he get hard? Would he get jealous?
There was a throb low in my belly.
I’d barely made it through my two classes this morning. Anticipation had me jittery and excited, and it was so fucking hard to think about anything else.
My wardrobe for the scene was a sleeveless black dress patterned with tiny white dots. The flared skirt was short, but not too short, and the cinched waist fit me perfectly. It was both innocent and flirty, especially because I had on black thigh-highs. Under the skirt, they just looked like leggings, but when I walked or if the skirt rode up at all, there was a flash of the sexy lace at the tops.
After Abbie finished spritzing me with makeup setting spray and declared she was done, I walked over to the full-length mirror hanging on her bathroom door and sucked in a breath.
My makeup was understated, and my light brown hair fell past my shoulders in soft waves. I looked good. Sexy. Hopefully every bit the part of a student ready to seduce her college professor.
“Thank you.” My voice was full of appreciation. “You, uh, do nice work.”
Abbie laughed and waved a hand as if to say, it was nothing. “Have fun!”
I simply nodded because I wasn’t sure what to say.
Everyone in the house had spent the evening yesterday transforming the business office of Petal Productions to look like a professor’s space.
There were built-in bookcases on the back wall, already decorated with books, but we removed the personal items from the shelves. The large wooden desk was pushed to the center of the room and cleared off. Diffused cling film went up on the windows to control the light. And the guys brought a small couch down from the storage room so we could stage it against the back wall.
When I came down the stairs and turned into the office, I found the ‘professor’ there. Scott had a costume for the scene as well, and his included a pair of glasses and a tweed blazer with honest-to-God patches on the elbows. His hair was styled conservatively, and—Jesus. He looked like the textbook definition of a hot professor.
“Hey, Madison.” His eyes were warm behind his fake glasses. “You look nice.”
“Thanks. You, too.”
On top of my eagerness, I felt nervous. Nina’s comment from the night we’d met flashed through my mind. She’d said lots of people would pay for the chance to sleep with Scott . . . and that’s what I was about to do. I was anxious for the scene but was surprised I wasn’t more excited.
Maybe it was because I was more concerned about pulling off my role. I’d never tried to seduce someone before.
“Can you grab one of the reflectors from the hallway?” he asked as he examined the camera angle on the tablet he held. “We need to bounce more light this direction.” He gestured to the left side of the room.
“Sure.” I turned to walk through the doorway and immediately ran into someone’s hard chest.
Hands gently grasped my elbows, drawing my eyes up. Colin took in a long breath as he peered down at me, and it was like he needed to gather strength to endure the sight of me. To survive his hands resting against my skin.
Goosebumps lifted on my arms, and my stupid heart fluttered. I had absolutely no fucking clue how I felt about him now. It was why I’d been avoiding him as much as possible. Sure, our short conversation in the gym had taken some of the sting out of what he’d said, but . . .
