“I…I have eggs.” His slightly delayed response was on topic, so I knew he was processing what I’d asked at the very least. “And toast?”

“That sounds like a great start.” I thought I’d remembered seeing some apples and a few random other things that could round out a good breakfast, but not much else…including Thanksgiving leftovers.

We’d both given vague answers about seeing family over Thanksgiving, but I was starting to think his had been as frustrating as mine.

But this was not the time for rehashing family drama.

“Do you like scrambled eggs or fried eggs better?” Keeping the distraction going seemed like the best idea, so I kept chattering as I shifted him so he was leaning back against the bed with the cage now out of sight.

“Both.” Not being able to see it had Ruslan’s brain working faster. “Little me likes eggs with runny yokes, though. They’re fun to dip stuff in and not yucky like some people think.”

Who did he know who didn’t like fried eggs?

“I think that sounds like a lot of fun.” I just wasn’t sure what else he could dip besides toast. “What else does Russie like for breakfast?”

That question would’ve been more appropriate if I hadn’t been pushing his sweats down and smiling at the lack of underwear, but I decided to ignore that part.

“When…” Ruslan’s eyes got wide before he slammed them closed and shoved his hands over his face. “When I’m little I like pancakes and French toast and all the yummy breakfast stuff. But most of the time I’m not little in the morning when I’m just by myself. Jack has sleepovers sometimes and then I’ll be little.”

Smiling at his antics and impressed by the way he was distracting himself from getting hard, I wrapped my fingers around the base of his well-manscaped dick to help with that goal. “So little time is usually at the end of the day when you’re looking for a way to relax?”

Ruslan shivered but it only took him one deep breath before he could answer. “Yes, little me has favorite dinners and stuff that are easy to make and I like things I can dip when I’m little.”

He paused as I slipped the first piece of the cage around him, moaning softly before a whine escaped. I was just glad he didn’t have a lot of hair around his dick for the cage to get caught in. “I… Then I’ll watch cartoons and color or play with my toys. I need…I need to finish making my playroom pretty, but I get distracted playing when I go in there.”

“That makes sense.” Finishing up getting the cage in place, I kept the conversation going as I double-checked the fit. “If you’d like, I can come over and help get it all put together. At the very least, I might be able to help you stay focused and you can direct me to be useful.”

He let out a slightly strained chuckle as I got his pants back in place and stood up. He might’ve been nervous, but he leaned into me as I kissed his cheek. When he was relaxed and probably relieved the most embarrassing part was over, he rested his head on my shoulder and sighed. “Can I have pancakes, Daddy?”

Not what I’d been expecting him to say, but we could adjust.

“Yes.” Kissing his cheek again, I hugged him tight and just ignored the cage he’d decided he didn’t want to talk about. “Does my little mac-n-cheese man want to get new clothes on or are we going to have pancakes like this?”

His current outfit might’ve been an invitation under other circumstances, but at the moment, I read it as grabbing the first thing he’d found when the doorbell had rung.

Russie straightened, scrunching his face up as he shrugged and lifted his arms. “I’m a good superhero.”

“Then let’s go see what kind of clothes you’ve got.” Taking his hand, I ignored the cage and his nearly naked body and took him over to the playroom. “I like superheroes too. Last year for Halloween, I was Superman.”

Losing a bet had been involved, but I didn’t tell Russie that because he was too excited about it.

Eyes wide, he had a spring in his step again as he led me over to his closet. “Superman? Can I see?”

Oh.

“Yes.” Kissing his head as his smile lit up the room, I nodded. “I’ll have to find it, though. But for now, what kind of superhero do you want to be?”

Dressing up as a superhero seemed to mean T-shirts and clothes with different characters on them, not actual costumes, which definitely made some things easier…just not the decision-making process.

“But I like being Spiderman too.” Russie gave a deep sigh as he looked between the four different outfits he’d dragged out so far.

I had a feeling this could go on for a while, so I decided it was time for Daddy to step in or at least try to manipulate the situation. “I think Spiderman likes pancakes. He seems very sweet and he’s a good boy, so he’d get the good breakfast.”
