He writhed against Caspian, on the verge of crying, but Caspian was there to soothe him with sweet kisses and whispered words Gunner didn’t hear through the blood thudding in his ears.

I love you. I love you, his whole being yelled, but he bit his lips, not daring to voice truths that would make their situation even more difficult.

He was hot, throbbing flesh, and bones made of liquid fire when Caspian repeatedly jammed his dick into him, shivering as he held on to Gunners hips. The thrusts were hard. And rough. And a wonderful contrast to the tender loving from before. By the time Caspian came, fatigue had already taken over and left them both in a mess of gasps and twitching muscle.

Caspian’s cum was hot inside Gunner, and when his dick finally shrank, retreating from the tender hole, a strand of spunk rolled out, leaving a scorching trail down Gunner’s balls.

Gunner closed his eyes, a boneless puppet still shivering from the intensity of the fuck, yet so safe against Caspian’s wide chest. “How long can a person go without sleep?” he mumbled, already knowing they’d need one more quick shower before rolling into bed.

Caspian chuckled against him, and his stubble scratched Gunner’s cheek as they kissed. “I’ll take care of everything. Don’t worry.”

What Gunner tried to say was that falling asleep could end his time as the cute twink. That maybe if he prolonged this body swap for one more day… drank lots of coffee, had a Red Bull—-

But he was barely awake already, and the intense lovemaking had drained his energy even further, so he let destiny take its course.

Chapter 28 – Caspian

Caspian knew it had happened the moment he awoke.

His limbs felt light, and the presence behind his back—hot and massive, like a living shield. But he didn’t want to face the reality of it just yet. So he kept his eyes closed and listened to soft footsteps followed by a muted whirring reminiscent of a kitchen mixer.

He should’ve been happy his life was about to go back on its usual rails. That he’d get to sleep in a comfortable home and once again talk to his parents. He’d even get to make sure they were proud of him and unfuck every single thing Gunner messed up.

But deep down, he wished to go back to sleep and wake up again, curled around the slender presence of Gunner’s body instead of inside it, because while this body might truly belong to him, at the moment it felt stolen. But there was only so long he could pretend to still be asleep.

Even tucked between the wall and Gunner’s form, he couldn’t ignore the bright light shining into his face any longer. So he ripped off that Band-Aid and sat up.

Gunner groaned and rolled over to his back, but while his eyes remained closed, he was waking up too. A frown pinched his face when he stretched and ended up hitting the wall with his knuckles. His stern, masculine features were the same ones Caspian had looked at in the mirror for the past two weeks, and seeing them on someone else couldn’t have felt odder.

Gunner opened one eye and stilled for half a second, but then sat up as well, patting his body as if he couldn’t believe it was there.

“It worked.” he stated the obvious.

He was so big, his face so masculine with strong, rigid features, and the tattoo covering half of it in a scary lineart, but despite being back in this body, Gunner no longer resembled a predator. His expression was soft, and the way he touched his massive pecs with wonder took Caspian right back to last night and the way Gunner had clung to him, asking to be close.

“It did,” Caspian agreed, swallowing the rock forming in his throat.

Gunner wouldn’t meet his eyes as he nervously scratched his nape. “Hm. So… this is weird, right?”

The old Caspian, the one from before the swap, would have never leaned in and touched Gunner’s face for comfort, but the gesture had been so ingrained in him for the past few weeks, he’d done it without thinking.

Gunner glanced at him, and while they were dark brown rather than the blue he’d gotten used to, their gaze was familiar. Caspian froze and pulled back his hand, suddenly self-conscious. One look at his own chest reminded him why it was throbbing. Gunner’s name was still etched into his reddened skin in bold black letters, and the metal balls squeezed his nipples like tiny torture devices. But while those additions made his appearance edgier, he no longer was the man Gunner wanted.

He was embarrassing himself by trying to comfort Gunner in a way that had felt so natural only yesterday. If he was to survive this day, his focus should be on keeping his shit together.
