The tip already glistened in the morning light.

This wasn’t fair.

Her mind didn’t want to react to this man, but her body, that was a whole other thing. She wanted him. Even her wolf wanted him.

The scent. The sight. The entire package was just too good to deny. Her wolf wanted him. Three years of being without her mate, and there was a desperation, that in a woman, would be so sad.

She turned her back on him and moved toward the window to look out at the street below. There was no one around. It was far too early.

She’d always been an early riser. Sleeping in late never appealed to her. She had a life to lead, and allowing time to fly by while stuck in bed, well, she hated it.

Decker didn’t allow her to have these few precious moments before he touched her again. She closed her eyes as his hands touched her stomach. His palms were so large.

“I regret pushing you away that night, Misha. I hate what I’ve done for the past three years, but you need to understand, I did it for you.”

She snorted. “No. This isn’t about me.” She shivered. Whenever she remembered that night, she couldn’t help her body’s physical reaction to it. Each time she relived it, the very memory made her completely cold inside.

“I need to get ready to go to work.” She tried to pull out of his arms.

“If my memory serves me right, you’re working at the town hall today, helping me.”

Misha tensed up. She’d gotten the text late last night that her presence would be needed in the town hall as they’d been inundated with a list of complaints, which were waiting to be dealt with.

The pack took it in turns to help the alpha. One of the many reasons she helped at the town hall, and not avoided him completely in the last three years, was just to look at him, to help to calm the pain inside.

Her wolf was pathetic.

“How do you know that?”

“I put in a special request. You haven’t come to help me at the town hall for some time, and we both know you’re damn good at what you do.”

“Compliments will not help you. But I am damn good at what I do. You want to know why?” she asked.

“Tell me.”

“I listen. That’s all you need someone to do. They need to be heard.”

“And who listens to you?” Decker asked.

“Blueberry. She is a good listener.”

“She’s a good healer as well. I’m sure she has done wonders for the pack over the years.”

“Yeah, do you know her story?” Misha asked, walking toward the shower. She needed to get the scent of Decker off her, otherwise, the pack would be staring at her for a whole new reason than her just being a bit weird.

Turning on the water, she waited for it to warm up before stepping inside. Closing her eyes, she tilted her head up. She should have known Decker wouldn’t believe in giving her any kind of privacy as he moved in close to her back.

His arms were once against wrapped around her, and she couldn’t help but sink back against him. This wasn’t what she wanted to do at all.

“Decker, I was taking a shower to remove your scent from me. It’s not going to work with you here.”

“Do you think warm water and soap is going to work to remove me from you? Misha, I came inside you three times. My scent is all over you.”

“I can try.”

She sensed his pain, and she gritted her teeth. “Stop changing the subject. Do you know more about Blueberry?”

“Only that she came to the pack some time ago. She’s always been a healer and the pack adores her.”

There was something in his voice. An odd catch she’d never heard before. He also spoke rather fast, as if he’d been reciting it like a practiced play.

How … odd.

Decker spun her around and pressed her up against the tiled wall. The cool glass helped to bring some sense to her as his lips set her on fire.

She gripped his shoulders with the intention of pushing him away, but it was no good. One touch, one taste, and she was so wet and needy. This was ridiculous. His hands moved down to her ass, and he had her lifted up. His cock was poised at her entrance.

They’d been sleeping together every single night now. Ever since the last full moon, they’d been together.

Misha wrapped her arms around him as she knew no pain would come.

He took care of her.

Slowly, sliding her down his length, and she felt every single inch of him as he filled her.

His kisses ignited a need.

His cock helped to fuel it.

“Touch yourself,” he said. “Touch that pretty pussy, and let me feel you come all over my cock.”
