“Then he started asking me about what I liked to play when I was little and there was something about his favorite toys and then coloring and that’s when things went off the rails.” It’d happened so fast. “I was polite but he got weird when I said I didn’t have crayons.”

Hmm.

“Oh, and I might’ve said something like if I wanted to be little and cuddle and pick out sex toys then I could be little that way.” It was honest but it made Daddy groan. “Was that something I was supposed to keep private? I didn’t tell him who was my Daddy.”

And up until the whole I could be little with sex toys part, I’d been very polite.

Hmm, was talking about sex toys impolite?

“I don’t have to color if I don’t want to, but I like my bathtub toys, so maybe we should look for people or men or something?” I could find land monsters to eat them. “There are lots of dangerous land animals.”

Daddy sighed as Tate laughed, but he didn’t stay dramatic and worried for very long. “Your level of imaginary violence worries me.”

I wasn’t.

He worried enough for all of us, so he could do it.

“Hippos are kind of cute. They’re like water teddy bears who’ll eat you in one big bite.” It was cool. “My favorite animals are the ones that look cuddly but will chomp you in half.”

“You should’ve told Brady that.” Tate barked out a laugh as Daddy did something that sounded like smacking his head. “Hey. Every little has favorite animals and stuff. It would’ve been something they could talk about besides crayons.”

That was a good point.

“I think I’m a doing kind of little. I do shopping and I do drowning people and I do safari accidents.” Yes, I was an active little. “I don’t have to color. Oh, did you know that new diner is supposed to have good fried chicken?”

I didn’t really like fried chicken…but nuggets were different and so were strips and so were boneless chicken wings. Hmm. “What’s for dinner?”

Chapter 7

Dean

It was like watching a rabbit’s brain jump around right in front of us.

“Tell him about your interests if you want, but don’t get too graphic. Brady sounds like a sweet kind of little and he might not like to hear about your people getting eaten.” I’d overheard a lot of weird stuff but I wasn’t sure I’d ever heard him kill anyone during playtime.

“And to be honest, I don’t think the sex toys part shocked him, but from what we’ve heard about his roommates, they might be more innocent.” How they could be innocent when they both were dating the guy downstairs who laughed all the time, I’d never understand.

But they were all weirdly innocent…just not about kinky stuff.

“I won’t be graphic, Daddy.” Joel wasn’t very subtle as he ignored the parts he didn’t want to hear, but he was tired and seemed to have had a long day. “I was very nice to people today, though.”

I wasn’t sure his conversational victims would’ve agreed with that, but I didn’t think arguing with him was necessary.

“How did the guy who wants to date you take it?” Tate was just grinning like the whole thing was hilarious. “Did he understand what a sub was?”

Joel’s silence had Tate barely holding back laughter.

It stretched out for so many seconds I thought Tate would pass out from lack of oxygen, but eventually Joel sighed. “I think so? I’m going to have to go back through that conversation, though. He understood I have two Doms, so I’m going to say he understood enough.”

It sounded like he understood just enough to be confused.

“I told him about how hard it was to find a Dom and that I was demi. He might have to look that up, though. He was staring kind of blankly when I got to that part, so I explained it a bit. Oh, and I told him about the frat guys who drink and play board games. Restaurant guy seems like the type to board game without a serious relationship.”

Somehow Joel managed to make that sound like he thought the guy was a slut without actually saying or meaning it.

I could one hundred percent guarantee Joel didn’t care who slept with who or when they slept with them. He didn’t understand casual sex but he didn’t think badly about it. He just thought people were weird.

Tate was back to nearly giving himself a stroke he was holding in so much laughter, so I decided the next part of the conversation was up to me. “If he ends up having questions, I’m sure you’ll be nice about answering them, right?”

My tone had him sighing but he nodded without giving me too much pushback. “Yes, I won’t be a pain in the ass about it as long as he understands he has to ask out someone else.”
