The way she would squirm.

The way she would hold her breath right before falling over the brink of ecstasy. Taking every last bit of pleasure she could.

“Nicholas Yes… yes…”

Coming with everything she had.

The way she took her pleasure with everything I made her feel.

My balls throbbed with the need to come from watching her climax.

“I love you,” I groaned out, emptying my balls deep into her pussy.

She kissed all over my face, and we spent most of the morning in bed.

“What happens now?” she asked, looking up at me as she lay on my chest with Max on the other side of me.

“As half the owner of Mistletoe Town—”

“Wait?” She sat up. “Half?”

I smiled. “My brother and I now own it.”

By the expression on her face, she was pleased with my answer. “That was very nice of you.”

I shrugged. “It’s a win-win.”

“You didn’t have to do that.”

“I know, but I wanted to. The next step is to relocate my business here.”

“I love that idea. I can bake you cookies, and you can come eat them on your lunch break.” I kissed her.

“I’d love that. You know this is all because of you, right? You’re the magic of Christmas.”

“No, Nicholas. You have it all wrong.” She moved to sit on my lap. “You’re the magic. You’ve always been the magic.”

“How do you figure?”

“Look how happy you’ve made everyone.”

She had a point.

“I was just doing my part.”

“Like Santa…” she teased.

“I’ve checked twice now. You’re definitely on the naughty list.”

“Well, my Grinch kind of lives there.”

“What time does your dad land tomorrow?”

“Noon. He’s bringing his girlfriend.”

They decided to spend the holidays on an island.

“Does my dad know?”

“Of course.”

“When did you ask his permission?”

“When I was delivering everyone’s gifts,” I laughed, holding my whole life in my arms.

For the first time in my life, I felt the true meaning of Christmas and what it felt like to be loved. I guess you could say I came around.

However, nobody needed to know that.

Because at the end of the day…

I did inherit this holiday.

EPILOGUE: TWO MONTHS LATER

NOELLE

In the blink of an eye, my life turned into everything I ever wanted.

“Oh shit…” I expressed, looking at the bright pink positive stick in my hand. “Oh God… Nicholas,” I shouted.

It didn’t take long for him to walk into the bathroom with what looked like a letter in his hand. His awestruck eyes went from the letter to the pregnancy test in my hand.

“Oh, wow…” He smiled wide. “A puppy and a baby… those are quite the gifts.”

“Yeah…” That was all I could muster.

I mean, I was happy.

Stunned but happy.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” I asked with caution.

It was only then that he handed me the letter.

There in front of my eyes was the reason he was acting so funny and nonchalant about me being pregnant.

I couldn’t believe it.

I wasn’t the magic.

Neither was Nicholas.

Nor Max.

Or the baby.

Nope.

It was the person I least expected but couldn’t have been more grateful to.

NICHOLAS

My fucking grandfather…

He was either a wizard or a psychic or shit at this point, maybe he was the one pulling the strings. That was the only explanation to the letter in my hands that Alfred just delivered to me that read…

I’m always right.

You’re welcome for the town, the wife, and the baby…

You can thank me later.

P.S. I was going to leave Mistletoe Town to you and your brother, but I figured it’d be best if you did that instead.

Like I said, I’m always right.

And that indeed…

He was.

The end…
