With that, I reach down, squeeze his cock, and then straighten and walk off.
Lorelei wakes seconds later, and I hear her ask something, but I don’t wait around to hear the answer.
I grin the entire way back to my room.
Take that, biker.

Adan is gone when I get up in the morning.
I find a simple text stating that he’s at the clubhouse and Remy came to pick him up. I’m sure that exchange went down well.
I stretch and climb out of bed, getting myself ready for the day and enjoying a few moments of time where I’m by myself again.
I was a little drunk last night, and my actions with Adan were bold, to say the very least but it is what it is and I did what I did. I’m not sorry about it, because I won. He got hard and I proved my point. My point being that I’m attractive and I damn well know it, I don’t need a man to try and make me feel any less than that.
I have no doubt it won’t change anything, and that whatever was happening between Adan and I is now finished, but all the same, it had to be done.
I had to win.
I walk downstairs and get myself a coffee. I’m mid-way through drinking it when there is a knock at the front door. For a moment, I’m confused, who would knock? Eve would just walk in and any of the club members would, too. Nobody that comes over here knocks, so it’s strange to find someone knocking now.
I walk over and swing the door open without thought, and my blood runs cold. There, standing on the doorstep is my step-brother, Devin. The years have not changed him, and he looks the same as he did when he used to drive me crazy and torment me constantly. He’s older, more mature in the face, but all the same still a plain old dick.
He’s wearing a suit without the jacket, the top two buttons of his white shirt undone. His blond hair is messy and yet styled at the same time, very well presented. His eyes are the same pale green and his skin the same pale white. His smirk, the smirk that nearly sent me over the edge so many times during my high school years, hasn’t changed a bit.
It’s hard to admit, but I see his father when I look at him, and there was a time when I thought that his father, Julian, was someone who I could love forever.
What a fool I had been.
“How did you find me?”
My voice comes out breathier and a little more concerned then I’d like.
I’m not certain anymore that Devin wouldn’t hurt me. If it meant he could get my money, then perhaps he would consider it. After all, I’m sitting on millions, more than most people will see in their entire lives, and he wants it.
“It wasn’t all that hard, it took some time but here I am. You’ve been avoiding me, Ramona. You can’t hide forever.”
His voice, slick and sleazy, the same as it always was.
“I’m not hiding, I’m simply not having anything to do with you and ... where is that devil I call a mother?”
“She wasn’t ready to see you, so here I am.”
Ugh.
She makes me sick.
He makes me sick.
They both make me sick.
“I’m not sure what you think you’re going to achieve, but if you harass me, I’ll call the police.”
“Now, now.” He smiles. “I’m not here to harass you, Ramona. I’m simply here to take back what’s mine.”
“Never going to happen.”
“Oh, but it is.”
It scares me how confident he is about that.
“No, Devin, it’s not.”
He laughs, low. “I see you’ve gotten mouthier in your old age.”
“Yeah,” I throw back. “It’s a shame I didn’t find my backbone when you tormented me as a teenager.”
He scoffs. “Tormented, you always were so dramatic. It wasn’t torment.”
“You shaved my hair off in front of your friends at a party, you tripped me over and I broke my arm on my way down for my first date, you spread lies and horror to everyone I became friends with, you told the whole town I was fucking your father.”
His face darkens. “But you were fucking my father, weren’t you? And because of that, you tricked him into giving you something that is not yours.”
“I wasn’t fucking him at sixteen, Devin. I was well over the legal age, and I never once, not once, asked for him to leave anything to me.”
“That money is mine,” he grinds out. “I’m his son, his only son. You are nothing but a piece of ass he used to make himself feel better.”
I bite my lip, saying nothing.
“You’re wasting your time here, and if you don’t leave, as I said, I’ll call the police. I’m not here to argue with you. The man I’m staying with is part of a club, and I assure you, they won’t be happy if you continue.”
