“Don’t stop,” she calls out.

I smile and grip her hip harder with my other hand. I feel like I’m on the edge of the world. It’s terrifying. Thrilling. Totally mesmerizing. I hook my legs around her dangling feet and go for the last few thrusts, deeper than ever.

I move my hand down her body, toying with her clit as her pussy tightens around me.

“I’m coming,” she moans. “Oh god.”

Fuck, I can feel it. It feels so good. My heart thunders deep in my chest as her body keeps tumbling around mine. I pump a few more times before I’m coming deep inside her.

Oh, I’m nowhere near done with her.

I bring her slowly down from the table and grab the paper towels as we slide to the floor. We clean up and lean against each other, catching our breaths. I turn to her and take one of her cheeks into my hand. And then I kiss the ever-loving fuck out of her.

Then, the knocking starts.

Chapter 7

Felicity

I can’t believe this is happening. This is not what I expected when I asked Shepherd to be my date. I thought we’d show up, have a couple drinks, and then maybe people would stop talking about how I’m apparently so pathetic.

But oh my god, that was good. And exactly what I needed. Shepherd might be kind of a grump when he’s sitting on his porch with his weird bitter coffee, but in the break room, behind a locked door, he’s an Adonis. Forget Karl who said he’d be my husband. This one fucked every last bit of that humiliation out of me.

Now I face another kind of humiliation. The kind where my boss catches me with the guy he thinks is my boyfriend and one of my boobs is still out of my dress. I tuck it back in and scooch the fabric down over my butt. Shepherd is fixing his shirt and buttoning his pants.

Shep unlocks the door, opening it, and Richards stands there with this smile on his face like he actually caught us with our pants down.

I smooth my hair a bit and ramble out, “Hey, boss. Shep here just needed a minute away from the crowd. He gets like that sometimes.”

His eyes fall on the bottle of bourbon on the floor by the break room table and the chairs that tumbled over. When did that happen?

“Oh?” He tilts his head at Shepherd. “Are you all right now?

Shepherd runs a hand through his hair, “No, not really. I thought a drink might help, but I think it was probably a bad idea to skip dinner before we came here.”

Richards isn’t buying it. “I see.”

I step up next to Shepherd and put my hand in his. “I think we should head home. Right, babe?”

Shepherd nods. “Yeah that’s a good idea. Let’s go.”

“See you Monday, Felicity,” Richards calls after us as Shepherd guides us down the hallway and through the party.

Emmie gives me a grin like she knows what went down a minute ago.

Great, now I’m gonna be known as the break room sex girl instead of the pathetic girl left at the altar. At least in this scenario I get to fuck Shepherd.

I really hope I get to fuck him again.

We get out to his truck and he has me up against the passenger door before he unlocks it. Our mouths connect and it’s like my whole body remembers the events that we left behind when he had me bent over the table.

The truck beeps, and he opens the door behind me. He helps me into the seat, which is great because my legs feel like they’re about to turn to jelly as I think about them wrapped around his hips.

A moment later he’s in the drivers’ seat turning over the engine. He looks over at me. “When we get back to my place, that dress is coming off. I want to put my mouth on every inch of you.”

A shiver runs through me even though the heat is blasting through the vents. He puts his hand on my thigh as he backs out of the parking spot.

I look at him. “Do I still have to rake your leaves?”

His laugh sounds like it comes from somewhere deep. It goes on for a while and I can’t help but smile. He squeezes my thigh. “Maybe,” he says, his eyes straight forward on the road. “Let's see how well you’re walking tomorrow.”

I smile. “So, that’s a no.”

We both laugh and he hits the gas, eager to get back home. I take a deep breath, eager myself to get this dress off and feel his lips on me again. I pull my phone out of the pocket of my coat when it goes off, sad to be pulled from my dreams of what’s to come.

Emmie: I told you the hot neighbor was a good idea.
