She pouts for a moment, but then climbs back up on my lap, sinking down over my cock.

“That’s it,” I tell her. “You feel so damn good.”

She rocks against me, my cock sinking deeper inside her. She rides me, and the sounds of our passion fills the room. I watch as her tits bounce in front of me, and I sit up, taking one in my mouth, biting down lightly on her pert nipple. I roam my hands over her ass, keeping her tempo nice and fast.

My cock’s so hard I’m ready to burst, and I squeeze onto her body, nearly blacking out from how intense this all is.

“Don’t stop,” Felicity calls out as her inner walls grip me, spasming along the shaft of my dick.

“Fuck yeah,” I groan out, my orgasm nearly here.

Felicity keeps coming, her fingers wound tightly into my hair, tugging and moaning through her own release. “Shepherd,” she whines.

My orgasm spills out of me, my body jerking through the intensity. “Fuck,” I call out, my arms gripped tightly around her.

“Oh no,” she says, leaning back. “Oh, I didn’t like that.”

I look into Felicity’s eyes. “Didn’t like what? The sex?” I ask, my body calming down after one of the most intense orgasms I’ve ever had.

Felicity laughs as she places her hand over her belly.

“Is everything okay?”

She laughs harder. “The baby kicked right as you came.”

I sit up. “Well, I don’t like that,” I agree with her.

She only laughs more. “It’s okay.”

I scrub a hand over my bearded jaw. “Do you think he knew what we were doing?” I feel horrible.

“Shep,” she says, gripping both my cheeks in her hands and staring me in the eyes. “It’s fine. He doesn’t know. I think it was all the movement.”

I glance down at her belly, and then back into her soft brown eyes. “You sure?”

She laughs more. “Yes. It just sort of freaked me out is all. I haven’t really felt the baby kick yet. Just tiny flutters here and there, but that was the first kick I felt.” She leans back, rubbing a hand over her belly once more. “He’s going to be a soccer player.”

I lean forward, letting my hands rest on her baby bump. “Hey there,” I say, my face inches from her skin. “I’m your daddy, and I didn’t mean to wake you up, little guy. Mommy and I were just busy doing grown-up things.”

Felicity gazes down at me. “Don’t tell him what we were doing.”

I crack a grin. “You can go back to sleep now,” I tell the baby growing inside her, and then I feel something on the other side of her skin. A kick. I lean back. “He kicked me.”

Felicity’s eyes shine. “I felt it too.”

I can’t believe it. Knowing there’s a baby inside her, and feeling it kick are two entirely different things. I’m amazed. There’s a living, growing baby inside her, and it’s mine.

All mine.

And now Felicity is mine too.

I’m never giving this up. For the first time in my life, I feel like everything’s falling perfectly into place.

Chapter 25

Felicity

It’s been a week now since Shepherd and I have been officially together. It’s also been the most amazing week of my life. Not only because of the delicious dinners spent together every night or waking up wrapped in his protective arms or even the incredibly sweet way he talks to our son when he thinks I’m asleep. All of those things are amazing, but the sex is life-changing.

Sure, we had sex before, but it wasn’t like this. The kissing, the touching, and the molten hot need. It leaves me speechless and fully satisfied.

I remember listening to Anya and Hartford, being jealous of their relationships. Jealous of the mind-blowing sex, the passion, the love that was clear in their eyes. Now, even after a week, I feel like I’ve found that.

We haven’t exchanged the words, but I feel it and I know he does too.

Today we are having Sunday dinner with his family. The last time I was there it was awkward and I was nervous. This time it feels different. I’m happy and excited to be around the Atwood family. They’ve all been so sweet and I can’t wait to share the news that we’re having a boy.

Shepherd is practically bouncing out of his skin with excitement. I told him that he can be the one to announce it and he kissed me with the most tender, soft, passionate kiss I’ve ever experienced. He was so grateful and it made my heart overflow with happiness.

“Hey gorgeous, are you almost ready?” Shepherd asks, stepping behind me as I look in the mirror. He wraps his arms around me, resting his hands on my belly, and smiles at me through the mirror. The baby kicks his hand and we both laugh.

“He knows his daddy’s touch,” I say.
