I tracked the ships scheduled to arrive tomorrow. We sometimes split bigger shipments between different cargo ships to lower the risk of losing everything if custom’s flagged one container.

Aislinn had gotten Finn ready for bed then lay down beside him so he’d fall asleep in his new surroundings. That had been more than an hour ago, and I’d given up hope of seeing her again tonight when the door finally opened. She’d probably have preferred to share a bed with Finn instead of with me, but I imagined her curiosity about her sister lured her to me.

She yawned when she came in, already dressed in a white cotton nightgown with lace trim on the neckline and hem. She looked good enough to eat. I put my laptop on the nightstand. Business was the last thing on my mind now.

Aislinn stopped in the center of the room like a deer who’d attracted the attention of the hunter—me. The last time she had that look on her face was our wedding night.

She approached me cautiously, and I lost all patience. I wrapped my arm around her hip and hoisted her into the bed with me. She let out a startled gasp. “Lorcan! Finn’s in the next room.”

“And he’ll stay in that room for a long time. While I enjoy fucking you in different places, I have no intention of not fucking you in our bedroom because there’s a kid next door. If all goes my way, there’ll be many more kids living under our roof one day.”

Aislinn met my gaze. “Many more? About how many are we talking?”

“I loved growing up with four brothers.”

“I’m not going to give birth five times.”

I nuzzled her neck but she didn’t soften. “Throw in two sets of twins, and that brings it down to three pregnancies.” I smirked before I even heard Aislinn’s reply, knowing I was pushing her buttons again.

“Or I just try for quintuplets. Then I’d be done with one pregnancy,” she muttered.

I nipped her earlobe. “I want more than one and five tops. Enough to count on one hand, that’s it. The final decision is up to you. I guess we’ll see once we cross that bridge.”

Aislinn was quiet. I kissed her throat then her collarbone while my hand slid over her breast. Her nipple pebbled against my palm. “It’s really strange to hear you talking about kids as if you were a normal guy and husband.”

“If you disregard my job, I’m a normal guy.”

She snorted. “You kill people. You tell people what to do, and you blackmailed me into marrying you. What about that is normal?”

“I guess my family values are normal, apart from the blackmailing you into marriage part, of course.”

“Of course.”

I slid her strap down, revealing her pretty nipple. It was a beautiful pinkish color, small and firm, crowning a perfect milky white breast. I couldn’t resist. I lowered my head and sucked it into my mouth. Aislinn gripped the back of my head. “Lorcan, I really think we shouldn’t.”

“Hmmm.” I suckled her nipple.

“You were going to tell me about your meeting and what you found out about Imogen.”

I stroked her belly then let my hand wander down between her thighs, brushing her folds through the fabric. “That can wait.”

I pushed my middle finger into the crease, knowing the cotton of her panties and nightgown would add additional friction.

Aislinn squeezed her legs together. “Lorcan,” she gritted out. “I’ve waited a week. I won’t wait another hour before you give me the information.”

“An hour, hmm? Already becoming greedy.” Aislinn might have been carved from marble, so I lifted my head from her breast. “Sergej told me your sister found a Russian business-man he’s been working with for years and she’s cruising through the Caribbean with him.”

“But did he show you proof? He could be lying. She could be a sex slave or dead! How do you know he’s telling the truth? It seems too simple. If Imogen were happy and healthy, she’d answer my calls.”

“Maybe she doesn’t have her old phone anymore. Her rich sponsor might have bought her a new phone with an US number. From what you told me about your sister, she’s very self-centered so she probably doesn’t even realize that you worry about her.”

Aislinn was silent. Her face was tight with an emotion I had trouble reading. Still, I couldn’t see how her mood would improve if I told her about my meeting with her sister. She’d probably beg me to fly with her to Florida to convince the selfish bitch to come to New York with us. In two days, Imogen would tan her greedy ass in the Caribbean and nothing sweet Aisling could do would change that.

“Listen, Sergej wants to intensify our business endeavors. Lying to me would set the wrong tone. He didn’t seem concerned in the slightest.” I slid down Aislinn’s body and lifted her nightgown before I pushed her panties away from her pussy. The sight got me every time. I dipped my thumb between her folds, but she wasn’t very aroused. Only the barest hint of her juices coated my finger. I gently bit the inside of her thighs. “Stop worrying so much. I asked Sergej to inform me once Imogen is back in the States and then you can talk to her. Now that Sergej knows I have a personal interest in your sister, he’ll make sure she returns alive.” I kissed the crease between her thigh and pussy then her labia.
